Life Cycle Replacement

As part of the contract there is a multi-million pound programme to replace assets across the estate which are nearing, or past their effective or economic life. Life Cycle Replacement is defined as the replacement of an asset at either, systems level or component level that can be planned in advance during the expected life-span of the asset.

The main benefit is increased customer satisfaction, as they are working and living in properties with newer, more modern and more reliable services. Other benefits include the prevention of the aging of properties on the MOD estate, as well as a reduction in calls to the Helpdesk, which allows the site teams to focus on other contract activities.
