Regional Prime Contract Central Charter Signing Ceremony

On the 25th January 06, Vice Admiral Peter Dunt CB, Chief Executive of Defence Estates hosted the formal signing of the RPC Central contract and the Joint Team Charter at The Great Hall, Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick, witnessed by teams from Defence Estates and CarillionEnterprise.

The Admiral congratulated the teams – both DE and C-E for all their hard work so far and emphasised the need for a new way of working to get away from the old adversarial relationship and move into the new world of partnership as set out in the RPC Central Team Charter.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Admiral underlined how working together in partnership requires “equality of commitment, openness, communication and compromise – in an atmosphere of trust. However, we must not forget that customers are in this partnership and we need to satisfy their requirements to enable them to concentrate on producing battle winning forces.”

John McDonough, CEO of Carillion plc followed on by saying “we believe the continuation of a close partnership will ensure that we not only maintain, but enhance the quality of the estate through the delivery of cost-effective maintenance and improvement in facilities. In short, we aim to exceed expectations!”

Also joining the ceremony were staff from the nearby establishment DMC Kineton who had recently transferred across to CarillionEnterprise.
